#2 Semmy Schilt

Nationality: Dutch
Height: 2.12 m (6 ft 11 in)
Weight: 130 kg (287 lb)
Divisions: Heavyweight, Super Heavyweight
Age: 44 years old
Record: 43-6-1 (20 KOs)
Years active: 2002-2013

He is the only fighter that all mentioned him whenever and wherever I asked about the best K1 fighters. Despite that, he wasn’t dedicated to K1, and his K1 record is just 50 bouts. As he was an MMA fighter as well, but he proved what no one else could prove with such a small record.

Schilt is the only heavyweight fighter of my top 10 k1 fighters list who has beaten all the other mentioned heavyweight fighters. Including (Hari, Hoost, Bonjasky, and Aerts). Indeed, he’s defeated any great heavyweight fighter else was existing during his active years like Verhoeven, Saki, and Jérôme Le Banner

Schilt is one of the rare fighters who proved that it’s not the quantity of your record that matters, but what you achieved in it. Look at Floyd Mayweather in boxing!
